Terms and Conditions

By entering this Promotion, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted the following terms and conditions.

New Zealand resident end-user owners of new Epson eligible products need to register their product details on the Product Registration website within 60 days from the purchase date.

The following Genuine Epson Products are eligible for registration:

  • Epson Discproducer purchased new from Epson or a New Zealand Epson Stockist.
  • That register their product within 60 days of purchase.
  • Products that are located less than 80kms from an Epson authorised service agent offices in Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch.


  • Products previously registered;
  • Products where the original Epson factory warranty has expired;
  • Products that are registered more than 60days after the purchase date;
  • Products located further than 80kms of an Epson Authorised Service Agent located in Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch;
  • Other Epson products such as single function and multifunction inkjet printers, dot matrix printers, scanners, multi-media storage viewers, projectors, large format printers, POS or receipt printers, or printer accessories;
  • Second hand, ex-demonstration, factory seconds or other damaged products are not eligible for this Promotion.

You must also complete a short online product usage survey to qualify for this promotion.

You can submit one entry to this Promotion for each Eligible Product registered during the Registration Period shown above.

Epson may vary the special bonus at any time.
Currently the special bonus is a Certificate that upgrades the standard 12 month Return to Base warranty to Onsite Warranty service.

Epson will supply via e-mail to purchasers of Eligible Products who comply with this Promotion, a 12 Month Onsite Warranty Upgrade Certificate in PDF format.

  • This Onsite Warranty Certificate upgrades the standard 12 month Epson Return to Base warranty to Onsite Warranty Service during the standard 12 month warranty period from the original purchase date.
  • The standard warranty conditions will otherwise apply unaltered to this Onsite Warranty service.
  • This Onsite Warranty Certificate is not transferable.
  • This Onsite Warranty does not apply to Epson product accessories or consumables.
  • Use of non-genuine Epson consumables may void this Onsite Warranty.
  • Epson's Service Agent may charge you for labour, parts and travel costs, if any conditions of this Onsite Warranty are breached.

You must log into the Discproducer Product Registration Website and enter the following details:

  • Contact Details (valid e-mail address required)
  • Register an Eligible Product type
  • Record Serial Number
  • Date and place of Purchase
  • Complete a small product usage survey

You must fulfil the online requirements of the Promotion and in particular you must:

  • Tick the checkbox confirming that your current personal details (name and email address) are correct,
  • Confirm that you have read and agreed to the terms and conditions of this Promotion; and
  • Click the "Submit" button at the foot of the Promotion page, to complete your online entry.

To be eligible to enter this Promotion you must comply with the specific requirements outlined above and you must also be:

  • An end-user of an Epson product (being private, business, government or educational); and
  • An New Zealand Resident.

You are ineligible to enter this Promotion if you are:>

  • An employee of Epson;
  • An Immediate Family Member of any such employee or
  • An employee of or contractor to a reseller, dealer, stockist, distributor or retailer of Epson products.

"Immediate Family Member" means spouse, defacto spouse, parent, natural or adopted child, and sibling (whether natural or adopted by a parent), whether or not they live in the same household as the employee/contractor.

Epson will automatically send an e-mail attaching the 12 Months Onsite Warranty Certificate (in PDF format) to the e-mail address you entered.

If after one (1) week from the date of entry, you have not received your Certificate, you should contact us via e-mail (click here).

After three (3) weeks from the close of this Promotion Epson will not enter into any correspondence or discussions relating to undelivered Onsite Warranty Certificates.

Despite any communication to the contrary, Epson also reserves the right to reject an entry that is found to be ineligible to participate in this Promotion.

Epson reserves the right to reject any entry that in its opinion contains any objectionable, indecent, obscene or inappropriate content.

No reward can be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash.

By entering this Promotion, you consent to Epson sending you by email all necessary communications relating to it.

To the full extent permitted by law, Epson is not liable for any loss, including (but without limitation) alleged consequential economic loss, by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by Epson, or its servants or agents, in connection with this Promotion or the supply of any reward.

This clause does not affect rights that cannot be excluded under Australian consumer protection laws.

To the maximum extent allowed by such laws, Epson's liability is limited to the cost of re-supplying a reward where necessary.

If Epson cannot conduct this Promotion as indicated in these conditions, for any reason including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or other causes beyond its control that may affect the proper conduct of this Promotion, Epson reserves the right to cancel, modify or suspend the Promotion.


  • Any accidental omission, deletion, loss or destruction of an entry;
  • Any unauthorised access to or alteration of entries;
  • Any technical malfunction or failure of any network, communication lines, computer systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment or software which results in an entry not being received within the Promotion's time limits; or
  • Any damage to an entrant's or other person's computer system or software arising from participating in this Promotion or downloading materials relating to it.
