With a dramatic increase in the number and versatility of features incorporated with the Stylus Photo R2880, extensive redevelopment of the printer driver has been carried out to streamline and improve printer operability. While the interface has been streamlined to minimise screen clutter, it functions to provide quick and easy access to tools that include:
Advanced black-and-white mode: The printer driver’s advanced black-and-white mode is designed specifically for greater and more accurate control over the tone, brightness and contrast of black-and-white print output. Using this mode, photographers can select and apply any one of the pre-defined (neutral, warm, sepia and cool) tones, with the added flexibility of customising through use of an on-screen colour circle.
Customisable settings: New and improved features that enable comprehensive customisation of print settings, such as paper type, source and size. Customised print settings can be saved to file, thereby removing the need to redefine specific settings for each print session.
Background colour and print data printing: Margins and backgrounds can be printed with a fill colour of the user’s choosing, making it a straightforward process to reproduce display-ready prints for framing.
