Breathtaking speed

Getting the job done with time to spare is what the FX-980 is all about. You get a choice of speed settings, including super-fast output of an incredible 569 characters per second at 12 cpi in high speed draft, 380 cps at 10 cpi in draft, and 94 cps at 15 cpi in NLQ.

Versatile paper handling

With Epson, you get the most versatile paper handling in the industry. The FX-980 has the ability to handle up to 6 multi-part forms (1 original + 5 copies) and up to 7 multi-part forms with the optional pull tractor installed, increasing both efficiency and productivity. Paper can be inserted from the front, rear, bottom or top, and you can keep two different types set up and ready to go. The fixed rear tractor and detachable top/front tractor give you a choice of 8 paper paths. An optional pull tractor boosts the total to 9 and allows front-loading, push-pull operation. No matter what you setup, these printers will fit right in.

Convenient Network Configuration
