New Epson "More-in-Ones" are great value high quality printer, scanner and copier solutions

September 2006: Epson New Zealand has released two new "More-in-One" products, the Epson Stylus CX3900 and Stylus CX5900 for home and small office users wanting high speed and quality printing, scanning and copying for professional looking documents and photographs.

The Epson Stylus CX3900 and Stylus CX5900 feature Epson’s revolutionary DURABrite(TM) Ultra resin coated pigment ink which increases the durability of prints, making them smudge and water resistant with vibrant colours and sharp text with up to 120 years lightfastness on selected Epson papers#.

DURABrite(TM) Ultra ink delivers excellent image quality and durability for both plain paper document and photo quality printing.

Using four individual colour Intellidge(TM) ink cartridges, the Stylus CX3900 and CX5900 provide an economical and affordable printing solution that maximises ink usage.

Epson’s PhotoEnhance on the Stylus CX3900 and Stylus CX5900 produces the optimum print every time by automatically adjusting the colour balance to allow for the different requirements of portraits, landscapes or groups.

PhotoEnhance ensures common problems like shadowed faces, 'red eye', backlit images and dull colouring are corrected, enabling every photographer to print images to admire and share with family and friends.

The Epson Stylus CX5900 comes with a large colour LCD viewer allowing easy operation and selection of images. Both the Epson Stylus CX3900 and Stylus CX5900 make printing even easier with a simple operation control panel and easy to use selection buttons.

With five card slots (Smart Media, Compact Flash and Micro Drive, Memory Stick, SD card and MultiMedia Card), the Stylus CX5900 offers convenient PC free printing, copying and scanning. In addition, the Stylus CX3900 and CX5900 support PictBridge, a camera industry standard that facilitates fast and easy to use PC-free digital printing of high quality photographs directly from digital cameras.

The Stylus CX3900 and Stylus CX5900 produce true BorderFree(TM) prints with the Stylus CX5900 taking 28secs to print a 4x6 photo. For fast printing, the Epson Stylus CX5900 prints up to 27ppm (A4 pages per minute) while the Stylus CX3900 prints at up to 23ppm.
