Integrated Transparency Unit
A fully integrated Transparency Unit (TPU) gives the Perfection 3490 Photo the ability to exploit many of its in-built and software-based technologies that significantly enhance scanning of slides, negatives and strip film. With a single film holder and the new Epson Scan 2.7 software, the TPU supports simultaneous - and accurate - scanning of up to four frames of 35mm strip film or three 35mm slides.
