Dedicated 4K resolution enhancement processor
Advanced pixel-shifting technology works in parallel with three individual high-definition LCD chips to produce an exceptionally sharp 4K picture on screen without sacrificing brightness. This is how the 4K experience was meant to be.
Dedicated digital imaging processor
Real-time 12-bit analog-to-digital video processing ensuring smooth tonal transitions, while eliminating banding, blocking, and other compression artifacts from the final visual performance. This powerful processor faithfully reproduces the source material the way it was intended to be shown.

A true 3-Chip design, Epson 3LCD technology utilises three-individual LCD chips for each colour of RGB. The result? Designed specifically for high-definition 4K HDR content, Epson precision lenses utilise extra low dispersion (ED) glass optics for exceptional brightness, colour accuracy and image detail.
Unique 15-element aspheric glass structure (AGS)
Epson precision cinema lenses feature a unique 15-element aspheric glass structure (AGS) that shifts the focal plane to the inside of the lens structure itself. Not only does this ensure surface dust is not visible on the final projected image but provides outstanding overall brightness and focus uniformity.
Optimal modulation transfer function (MTF)
Epson precision cinema lenses are designed around optimising the modulation transfer function in order to ensure superior resolving power at any zoom level. This not only maximises the performance of our unique 3LCD projection engine but ensures a professional-level of colour accuracy while eliminating virtually any chromatic aberration.

This is why Epson decided to develop the precision cinema lenses in partnership with some of the world's greatest lens manufacturers. Utilising an advanced form of fusion & cooling, Epson precision cinema lenses combine over 100 raw materials into pristine glass lens structures – rivaling some of the world's most precise lenses.
Extreme focus uniformity
Utilising advanced manufacturing processes allows the Epson precision cinema lenses have up to 35% better focus uniformity than virtually any other projection lens available today. The result? Epson precision cinema lenses are capable of faithfully displaying the source material without reducing image brightness or detail.
3-Axis precision motorised lens2
Ideal for precise installation and fine adjustments, Epson precision lenses include a fully-powered zoom, focus, and lens shifting technology. With ten custom presets, you can store and retrieve preset lens positions on the fly.
Epson 4K PRO-UHD1
Great images are the result of a combination of technologies coming together, including equal colour and white brightness, 3LCD technology, HDR10, contrast and colour processing.
