Rated 1 out of 5 by from Product Broke down after 4 months of use I have just received a replacement SureColor 706 after it being repaired under warranty for 7 months. In this time it has had a print head replaced a power supply replaced ( with the associated waiting for parts). Waiting for a new replacement printer to arrive at the repairer, then being asked to wait while a Motherboard to be installed, then being told the printer would be replaced after all. waiting an other month for this to arrive the repairer asked me to escalate this to Epson in person another month ago as he could not get any action from you. This took a month for the New printer to finally arrive at his repair shop, but not all the replacement inks as yet.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very high print quality but..... I had owned a P600 printer prior but when I saw was not only 10cm less in width and much lighter than the P600, that was a plus. In addition it has the "Carbon Black' setting and has an extra (violet) ink. These features allow it to produce finer prints with a high D-max. I've been very happy with the print quality. Sadly the printer has problems with loading paper. Plain paper loads readily as does Archival Matte. Many other papers often require several attempts with gentle nudging to get the paper loaded. My worst experience was when a sheet of Traditional Photo paper jammed inside the printer and I could not eject or shift it. I took the printer to an authorised printer repairer who had to do a partial dismantling to retrieve the paper. He apologetically said Epson would only reimburse him if there was a hardware fault and he charged me $86. I now avoid using Epson Traditional photo paper as I can't afford further $86 fees. These problems with loading and the jam are the reasons why I have not rated the printer very highly. I do know from contacting an Australian firm who have examined the P706 that Epson has received thousands of complaints worldwide about the loading problems, so beware.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from OPeration errors I purchased this printer to replace a damaged SC P600 (which was a fabulous machine). When I started using this printer I discovered that it could only load one sheet of paper at a time, regardless of paper type of size of paper. As soon as I tried putting more than one sheet of paper in the rear feeder the printer would make a clicking sound and kept on trying to grab the leading edge of the paper, It would then give an error message that the printer feeder was empty. Yet there was still paper there. I have been battling to get a response from the support team in Australia as to what they intend doing about this faulty machine. I also find this machine to be much slower in printing operation than the P600.
