AUCKLAND, 21 June 2023 – Epson's EH-TW6250 4K PRO-UHD projector has won the 2023 Sound + Image AV Projector of the Year under $2500 Award, whilst its stablemate the EH-LS12000B 4K PRO-UHD laser projector has won the Sound + Image AV Projector of the Year over $5000 Award.

Epson's patented 4K PRO-UHD technology enables the TW6250 projector to produce incredible brightness, enhanced colour and superb image detail. The smarts don't stop there as the EH-TW6250's dedicated 4K pixel-shift processor – Epson's advanced pixel-shifting resolution-enhancement technology – results in an exceptional 4K visual experience which, combined with its dedicated HDR processor and resulting full 10-bit HDR colour processing uses 100% of the HDR source information.

Boasting an advanced 3LCD projector design and true 3-chip technology the EH-TW6250 offers an amazing 2,800 lumens colour brightness and 2,800 lumens white brightness.

It also can project a huge image size of up to 500 inches on virtually any wall or screen so viewers and gamers can and will be fully immersed in their entertainment.

The EH-LS12000B 4K PRO-UHD laser projector redefines 4K theatre-quality expectations for home theatre viewing, faithfully reproducing all source material the way the original content creators and artists intended.

Incorporating an all-new laser array light source, next-generation image enhancement and processing algorithms, expanded HDR10+ and HDMI 2.1 support and real-time scene adaptive correction, the EH-LS12000B produces incredible brightness, colour accuracy and image detail for stunning 4K viewing experiences and immersive gaming.

The uniquely designed laser optical engine allows for uncompromising brightness, contrast, colour and the highest image quality. The laser engine's long lifespan of up to 20,000 hours provides virtually worry-free operation. There's no waiting for the projector to warm-up or cool down either, as the projector reaches maximum brightness and turns off almost immediately.

To make installation simple you can precisely shift the lens up to +/- 96% vertically and up to +/- 47% horizontally without any loss in picture distortion or clarity thanks to the EH-LS12000B's 3-axis motorised lens. A front exhaust enables the projector to be installed on a shelf at the back of any room and with a highly sealed optical unit less light escapes, meaning you can always be fully immersed in whatever you're watching or playing.

Driven by a new Epson picture processor and new precision pixel shift technology, the EH-LS12000B delivers an exceptionally sharp and clear 4K picture with an astonishing 2,700 lumens of both colour and white brightness.
