Actual ink yields will vary considerably for reasons including images printed, print settings, temperature and humidity. Yields may be lower when printing infrequently or predominantly with one ink colour. All ink colours are used for printing and printer maintenance, and all colours must be available for printing so an additional black (K) bottle may be required to reach stated colour (C, M, Y) yields. This little printer has generous ink tanks and so I do not need to run off to buy replacement cartridges to ensure the printer functions. With this printer you only need to top up the chamber of low ink from an economical bottle.
