I have been a loyal Epson customer and had numerous Epson printers over the years. This one ET-4750 is TERRIBLE.
I purchased it due to the promise of low ink costs. It certainly saves costs on ink, mostly I think, due to the fact it rarely works. I generally have to run 'trouble shooting' before being able to print or scan anything. What should take 1-2mins will generally take 45mins to an hour.
I keep firmware up-to-date. I have no issues with the home network (although the printer often says it does).
This was not a cheap printer and has been a time wasting, disappointing frustrating purchase.
Unless you have unlimited free time, do not select this printer.

Best small office printer I've had in years
I have been using my EcoTack ET-4750 for 8 months - initially in direct connect mode, and more recently in Wi-Fi mode, so the rest of our small office team can the printer too.
After trying many different small printers over the years this printer technology is a BREAKTHROUGH - particulalrly in running costs!
+ Really easy to configure.
+ All the software is very intuitive.
+ Regular online updates easy to install
+ Two-sided printing is a breeze.
+ Multi-page scanner works well.
+ Ink costs are so much lower than I have ever experienced.
+ And the print quality and speed are good enough.
I am a big convert to this new Epson EcoTank technology.
Strong recommendation as a small office printer.

Great compact unit.
I have been using this printer for two weeks now and I am very impressed with the quality and speed. Took a little while to set up but worth it. :-)

Lack of technical support
It is not user friendly, the features such as scanner is not accessible whenever there is a windows software update.
