One spindle comes with each printer. The spindle is easy to load with media and slots directly into the printer. In environments where multiple stocks are being used and media is regularly interchanged, efficiencies can be gained through sourcing additional spindles and having them pre-loaded with media.

Note: When media is being stored outside the printer, whether separate or on a spindle, it is strongly advised that a roll belt be used to ensure that tension be maintained (see C12C890121).

Roll Paper Option

Product Code: C12C811431

This optional accessory enables use of roll based media in widths from 13" to 17" supplied on either a 2" or 3" core. It attaches to the rear of the printer and supports a range of media types with prints made borderless or with borders.

Important Notes:
Prints up to a maximum length of 3.3m can be made however accurate sizing cannot be guaranteed for prints over 1.1m. A minimum of 50mm will be lost at the start of each print job and a further 14mm at the end of each print job due to media feed requirements. If multiple images are sent to print as a single job borders between the images can be reduced to as small as 0mm.
The printer does not include an autocutter so manual cutting is required. When printing on matte media resolution is restricted to a maximum of 1440x720dpi.
Roll based media with thicknesses less than 250gsm are not supported. The use of 2" core media is generally not recommended except in the case of flexible Canvas. The use of heavy/thick stocks on a 2" core can cause damage to your printer and invalidate warranty.
