Come alive with Australian firsts on the Epson stand at PacPrint 2025

On stand C48 from 20 to 23 May 2025 at the Sydney Showgrounds

AUCKLAND, 13 May 2025 – This year’s PacPrint, held from 20 to 23 May 2025 at the Sydney Showgrounds, could well be the most vibrant ever for Epson as they demonstrate their theme of “Come Alive with Epson” with new products producing the brightest of colours. PacPrint will attract hundreds of visitors from the print, sign and graphics industries in Australia, New Zealand and across the Asia Pacific and Epson will have solutions for them all in displays spanning photo, signage, merchandise and labels on their stand C48.

There will be several new Australian firsts on Epson’s PacPrint stand.

First up is the new SureColor S8160 eco-solvent printer, the latest addition to its large format signage printer range. Replacing the SC-S60600 and SC-S60660L models, the new 64-inch S8160 is a next-generation eco-solvent signage printer that offers outstanding productivity, exceptional image quality and a wide colour gamut in a compact, user-friendly design.

Next is Epson’s new SureColor S7160 eco solvent printer, the latest addition to its next generation of large format signage printers. Building upon the success of the SC-S40600, which has achieved over 11,000 units in global sales, the SC-S7160 is designed to deliver outstanding image quality, productivity, ease of use and reliability at a minimal cost.

The third Australian first comes in the form of Epson’s new SureColor V2060, an A3 UV flatbed desktop printer designed to meet the growing demand for high-quality, on-demand customisation. Specifically designed for producing bespoke merchandise, promotional products, and small-format signage the SC-V2060 brings professional grade UV printing into compact spaces to a wide range of users with ease.

There’s also a strong sustainability theme running across the Epson stand as Epson’s SureColor series highlights significant environmental advancements across its product lineup focusing on waste reduction, efficient packaging and the use of recycled materials. SureColor products leverage innovative ink systems, energy efficiency and sustainability certifications to align with Epson's commitment to reducing environmental impact in the ICT sector.


SureColor S9160

In the signage arena Epson continues proceedings with its recently announced eco-colvent flagship, the SureColor S9160. Joining its younger siblings, the S7160 and S8160, this 64-inch model sets a new standard in signage printing by delivering exceptional image quality, an expanded colour gamut, unparalleled productivity, and a compact, user-friendly design.

The SureColor S9160 is equipped with Epson’s latest user-replaceable 2.64-inch PrecisionCore MicroTFP printhead and utilises an advanced 11-colour ink set, including red, orange and an all-new green, as well as opaque white ink, which can be used on clear or dark substrates to add versatility and enhance colour.

This printer also stands at the forefront of eco-friendly innovation with approximately 30% of the plastic used in its hardware made from recycled materials, reflecting Epson’s ongoing commitment to reusing resources and reducing waste. The S9160 also offers the opportunity to install either 800ml or 1,500ml sizes of any of its low VOC UltraChrome GS3 eco-solvent inks which reduces environmental footprint and plastic waste.

Then we have Epson’s first resin ink large format printer, the SureColor R5000, a printer designed to produce signage, décor and promotional material using aqueous (water-based) resin ink that is similar to latex but formulated for enhanced scratch resistance and a lower curing temperature.

This clever printer offers print service providers and creative design agencies the ability to produce a wide range of signage and display products with faster turnaround times and reduced OH&S and environmental concerns.

Critically, the R5000 addresses the existing industry challenges of working with latex inks and draws from Epson’s years of experience in delivering predictable and consistent output with superior colour and image quality.

The 64-inch SureColor R5000 delivers exceptional print performance and reliable colour control, image sizing and positioning that is consistent from edge to edge, top to bottom and print to print.


SureColor V1060

In the merchandising space Epson will demonstrate its state-of-the-art SureColor V1060 (A4) printer that is ideal for customising merchandise and promotional items on demand and transforming them into unique products, making them an excellent solution for retail and event environments.

The SureColor V1060 enables direct printing onto a vast array of materials including acrylic, metals, wood, canvas and more with superior image quality, colour accuracy and finely detailed text.

Their environmental credentials will also be on show as they boast UltraChrome UV Ink GREENGUARD GOLD and AgBB certification and French VOC A+ certification for low VOC emissions. These certifications underscore the acceptability of the ink for use in sensitive indoor environments like schools and healthcare facilities. They also enjoy an environmentally friendly ink supply unit with a 66% reduction in weight, using 64% less plastic.

Making sure colours are as accurate and vibrant as possible will be the Epson SD10 Spectrophotometer and Auto Table. The SD10 is an ultra-compact high-precision spectrophotometer which determines the exact colour of a test item and compares it with another or with a known standard such as Pantone.

The Auto Table also helps solve colour matching problems in a wide range of print and design-related work, such as those commonly found in the sign and display and textile industries. When combined with the SD-10 and Epson Edge Color Lite colour management software it offers a genuine colour management solution that addresses most colour management requirements and maximises print output quality.

If you want to print labels, there’s not much that beats Epson’s highly acclaimed ColorWorks series, which includes the ColorWorks C8010, a colour inkjet label printer for high volume enterprises with the business need for in-house, on-demand label production on an industrial scale.

The ColorWorks C8010 enables you to increase your high volume, high-quality label delivery speed and customisation capabilities. The printer is easy to use and maintain with all paper loading, ink replacement and printing operations performed from one side. Its high printing quality, combined with a high 300 mm/sec print speed helps you to produce stunning, on-demand labels very quickly.

Also scoring goals in labels is the ColorWorks C6510 as it provides an easy transition for customers looking to upgrade their thermal transfer printers to colour inkjet label printer. It features similar media handling capabilities, speed, features and connectivity options that deliver seamless integration with existing workflow.

Rounding out the label printing area with more label printing options is the ColorWorks C4010A, designed for on-demand colour label printing for a variety of applications and environments. Specifically designed as a colour upgrade to black-and-white thermal transfer printers, the ColorWorks C4010A delivers on-demand, colour labels with ease.

For photo printing Epson has its SureColor P20560 64-inch large format printer designed for high-quality printing of posters, graphics, signage and fine art. It offers faster processing speeds and an expanded 12-colour ink set, providing a wider colour gamut and up to 99% Pantone coverage. The P20560 boasts 30% recycled plastic in its hardware^, an efficient ink pack system which uses less plastic and packaging volume resulting in 50% lower carbon emissions per litre of ink compared to traditional cartridges and 20% less power usage in sleep mode - compliant with ENERGY STAR standards.

Alongside the P20560 is the SureColor T-Series T5760DM multifunction technical printer that combines an extremely compact footprint with flexible media handling, high print speed and a large format scanner for print, scan and copy functionality. This printer is designed for companies who want to produce colour drawings, posters and POS material in sizes up to A0 quickly and efficiently. This model is particularly suited to construction, retail and print-for-pay applications.

The SureColor T5760DM delivers posters and POP displays at speeds over 27 m2/h and CAD and technical drawings at production-class speeds over 130 m2/h, for fast cost-effective production with lower power consumption.

Headlining their “fabric machines” is the SureColor G6060, Epson’s first dedicated wide-format printer designed exclusively for direct-to-film production. Aimed at volume production, this printer has been designed to deliver consistent quality output with a low running cost, minimum maintenance and a high duty cycle.

The SureColor G6060 makes adding images and logos to shirts, pants and accessories simple and straightforward and thus enables imaging on a much wider range of material. As such garment manufacturers can produce event and show merchandise alongside value-add clothing and a wide range of other items including coasters, umbrellas, notepads and binders.

The SureColor G6060 has been purpose-built for fast and efficient production. It is designed to operate with minimal operator oversight and minimum manual maintenance.

Then we have the SureColor F9560 high-performance dye sublimation printer designed for customers who need to produce customised fabric, soft signage, and garments. It combines high image quality with high speed and high efficiency. It supports roll-to-roll production in widths from 36 inch to 64 inch with a bulk ink system that uses dual sets of cost-effective, low-mess and low-waste pouch-based ink.

The printer features a new styling for production equipment with a compact shape, reduced profile and flat external surfaces. It incorporates a touch interface and can be monitored remotely from desktop and mobile devices complete with costing tools care of an integrated and free Epson Cloud Solution PORT service.

The F9560 uses 30% recycled plastic in its hardware^, enjoys a 30% reduction in packing size which demonstrates a commitment to circular economy principles, streamlines packaging and decreases transportation impact. It has also eliminated the individual ink box which lowers cardboard waste by around 21%.


SureColor F1060

If you are looking for in-store clothing and merchandise customisation then look no further than Epson’s final offering at PacPrint, the SureColor F1060 a printer that provides a cost-effective production tool for designers, event operators, print-for-pay providers and small businesses. The SureColor F1060 combines a compact footprint with flexible operation and outstanding image quality. It supports traditional direct-to-garment (DTG) and the latest direct-to-film (DTFilm) production techniques. The SureColor F1060 is not only compact but has been styled to suit ‘front-office’ operations with a quality finish and fully enclosed production area.

The SureColor F1060 is a hybrid 5-colour fabric printer tailored to businesses seeking to provide garments and merchandise that incorporate logos, images and more. This printer incorporates white and colour ink. It will operate in DTG and DTFilm modes for imaging onto a wide variety of materials, including man-made fabric and uniquely shaped items, expanding the ability to create customised product offerings. It also utilises an integrated ink pack system which reduces waste compared to traditional cartridge systems.
